Energy Performance Certificate

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are required by law when a property is built or being marketed for sale or rent.

An accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) is required to undertake an evaluation of the property in order to determine the properties energy efficiency, typical running costs and potential areas for improvement to reduce energy usage and increase cost savings.

The results of this certification can impact a decision on whether you can let your property or if you will be required to improve your properties energy efficiency to meet the required standards.

Failure to obtain an EPC when required can result in a fine!
